Nothing says autumn like a chrysanthemum! These hardy blooms are perfect any time of year but really shine in the fall months. The colors chrysanthemums come in are another reason to love them. There is also a variety in sizes, textures, and styles of chrysanthemums. From spider mums to buttons, there is a chrysanthemum for any theme!

Colors

Chrysanthemums come in beautiful, down to earth colors such as white, green, yellow, purple, lavender, red, and of course the coveted bronze. One of the only true bronze flowers, these mums are ideal for an autumn occasion.Β  White is another staple in the chrysanthemum family and is often used as a filler for bouquets or any all-white arrangements.

Style

While chrysanthemums give off a rustic vibe, they can really be used in so many different styles. The white football mum is a perfect example of a fluffy, romantic bloom that would be perfect in a bridal bouquet with garden roses and ranunculus. A green spider mum makes a lovely addition to a bright and whimsical arrangement for spring. Red daisies of course make lovely additions to a winter event with hypericum berries and deep greenery.

Hardiness

Chrysanthemums are one of the hardiest flower varieties. They have an exceptionally long vase life. Because we ship flowers before their peak, they can last up to two weeks or more with proper care! They can also easily withstand the stress of being shipped without water. They hydrate easily and perk up without fail every time. Most larger head varieties such as spider and football mums are shipped with netting to protect the petals during shipment. These can be removed upon arrival.

Chrysanthemums lend themselves to a broad range of styles and with lots of colors and textures to choose from, you are sure to be able to add them into your arrangement. The price of chrysanthemums can’t be beat. The pompon varieties are perfect to fill in arrangements, bouquets, and are a perfect addition to a bouquet bar!
