In gorgeous shades of deep burgundy, Sarah and Ross art deco wedding was elegant and romantic in every way. The day started with their first look at a nearby park close to The Church of the Good Shepherd. Our bride in BHLDN walked down a long path to meet her husband who was waiting for her by a lake. On the way, there were two deer that walked out on the path past her she shares as her more memorable part of the day. “Just getting to see my husband before the wedding was my favorite because we could really pause and take in the day with each other before the craziness started.”

Our bride shares with us on her wedding day florals. “I decided to do the florals myself by ordering from Blooms By The Box, and once they arrived, it was a team effort to bring it all together. Each of my bridesmaids made their bouquet, my mom and her friends tackled the reception centerpieces, and a friend who is a florist helped me make my bouquet and prep the flowers.”

The two planned their wedding in 3 months, and their inspiration was based around keeping things simple and elegant hence the gorgeous winter tones and art deco wedding vibes. The couple also shares with us that photography and good food fromΒ Deep Run RoadhouseΒ were their focus and giving up the pressure to be perfect in all other areas gave them the freedom to focus on each other and what really mattered.Β Imani Fine Art PhotoΒ captured all the beautiful details and moments of the day from their ceremony to the reception atΒ Lewis Ginter Recreation Association.Β While they didn’t do a traditional cake cutting, there was plenty of desserts to go around.Β WPA BakeryΒ and their cousin provided the sweets, and the rest of the night everyone spent dancing to a Spotify playlist curated by the couple themselves.

Congratulations Sarah and Ross!
