How to Make a DIY Hydrangea Tower Centerpiece

Create this dreamy and fluffy DIY Hydrangea Tower Centerpiece in a few simple steps! We love hydrangeas for this project but you can swap in other flowers for the tower centerpiece of your dreams! How many flowers do I need for this centerpiece?
  1. 8-10 stems white hydrangeas
  2. 10-15 stems pink mondial roses
  3. 4 stems green hanging amaranthus

What floral supplies do I need to make this centerpiece?

  1. Single design bowl
  2. Floral foam
  3. Tall tower glass vase

How do I make a DIY Hydrangea Tower Centerpiece?

  1. Cut the floral foam to the shape needed for the design. We cut ours into a rounded cylinder.
  2. Wet the floral foam until fully soaked.
  3. Press the floral foam onto the designer bowl.
  4. Cut a hydrangea stem down to approximately 2 inches and stick it into the top of the foam.
  5. Cut a few rose stems and place between the hydrangea blooms. You can probably stick between 3-5 roses for a nice full look.
  6. Repeat this step 4 more times on the sides of the arrangement. You should now have a rounded shape.
  7. There will be lots of open space. Begin to fill that space with additional hydrangea blooms and roses. Fill until the desired shape is achieved.
  8. Cut 4 stems of amaranthus and stick them into the bottom of the design.
  9. Carefully place the design on top of the tower vase.
