Common Names: Peruvian Lily, Lily of the Incas, Alstro

This delightful orange alstroemeria cut flower adds a splash of autumnal color to your bouquet and can be used either as your arrangement’s centerpiece or for a volume-adding selection to fill it out with full, colorful blooms. These happy, vibrant flowers are one of our most popular selections with cut flower enthusiasts because of their long-lasting blooms and cheerful faces. This trumpet-shaped flower is a close relative to other lily varieties and is referred to as the “Peruvian lily” or the “Lily of the Incas.”

The colors of the sunset are vividly displayed in the orange alstroemeria and range from light orange petals to darker contrasting orange “blushes” in the centers. The interior petals feature the alstroemeria’s signature “whiskers” and show off a surprising splash of sunny yellow as an accent. Orange is often called the color of joy and happiness and connotes feelings of warmth, love, and fun and this orange alstroemeria will add the perfect touch of fall to your bouquet. The green leaves and accents add a unique depth and a contrasting interest. These blooms can be paired with many other colors and variety of flowers. Consider adding carnations, roses, stargazer lilies or lemongrass to these versatile flowers. The orange alstroemeria’s smaller blooms are perfect for boutonnieres, centerpieces or bouquets!
