Pantone has officially announced its 2020 color of the year. Drumroll please… Classic Blue! We are thrilled to have a fun and flirty blue shade grace the color of the year. The simplicity of this color will play out in fashion as well as the event and wedding world. We absolutely love to see this timeless color get the recognition it deserves.

Blue Flowers

In terms of flowers, there are so many different color palettes to choose from. While there aren’t many natural blue flowers, the ones that do exist have been increasingly popular among brides this past wedding season. Do we sense a trend of brides having A LOT to do with the color of the year? I think so. A bridal favorite, thistle, is a shining example of classic blue. Thistle can be used in so many different aspects and blends seamlessly with so many color palettes. A few other blue faves include anemone’s, delphinium, and blue hydrangeas. We’ve put together some fun color palette ideas for you as inspiration!
