Happy Friday Bride-to-be’s! We have been gathering photos all year of beautiful bouquets from real brides and weddings. Now it is time to show you some of the trends we have been seeing from DIY brides.

We are seeing many brides are opting for a more whimsical, romantic and less structured bouquet. This is contrary to the very popular circular-shaped bouquets. We have also seen more bohemian/rustic style weddings which lend themselves perfectly to this style of bouquet.

An element that has been steadily increasing in popularity has been incorporating plants that are not typical “flowering” plants- such as roses – and instead opting for Thistles, Craspedia Billy Balls, Berry Fillers, and Succulents. These plants offer a unique texture to the bouquet and are visually stunning!

There are also plenty of trends that are incorporating non-flower items into bouquets, such as jewels and paper art. These accents are beautiful and add a lovely sparkle or contrast to the bouquet. Although, nothing beats the beauty of perfectly bloomed Roses, and Peonies.

We love sharing the beautiful floral creations of our brides and are always looking for more creations to share, so if your wedding is in 2016 and you haven’t shared with us, please reach out! Keep an eye on our blog, as next week we are looking at trends in other floral wedding details!
